Reservations can only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit of 20% of the total cost or full payment if booking is being done within 4 weeks of arrival at Niltava. Final balance should be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival at Niltava. Failure to pay may be treated as cancellation, and our cancellation terms will be applied.
Proof of Payment is required for confirming reservation. Guest and clients are advised to mark the below mentioned email IDs.

Reservations


Following amounts will be retained against cancellation prior to arrival date

  • - More than 12 weeks before arrival, full refund will be provided.
  • - Less than 12 weeks to 8 weeks before arrival, 10% of invoice amount.
  • - Less than 8 weeks to 4 weeks before arrival, 25% of invoice amount will be retained as cancellation charge.
  • - Less than 4 weeks to 2 weeks before arrival, 50% of invoice amount as cancellation charge will be retained.
  • - Less than 2 weeks before arrival, we will retain 100% of invoice amount as cancellation charge.

Accommodation will be provided for booked dates only and no refund shall be entertained for unused nights or early check out. Postponement of dates is tantamount to cancellation.

Cancellation Policy


Check-in time is 02:00 pm. Early check-in can be arranged depending on the availability, please feel free to ask.
Checkout time is 12:00 pm. If the room is not vacated by this time, the customer may be subject to extra charge. We do not accept guests for check-in between the hours of midnight and 8 am unless a room has been booked for the previous night.

Check in/Check Out


Niltava is a smoke free area. Guests are requested to use the designated smoking areas only. All tents at Niltava are non-smoking and we strongly discourage smoking, lighting of candles or using fire in any other form inside the tent or within the resort premises unless directly supervised by the resort management.

Fire Hazard


Clients and guests are asked to respect the cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere of Niltava, the management reserves the right to eject any guests or clients found to be conducting themselves disrespectfully or inappropriately.

Only registered guests are permitted lodgings, no visitors are allowed to remain within the property after 10 pm. Clients and guests are responsible for the behavior of any visitors they bring on-site and in particular for the orderly conduct of said guests and in ensuring that no noise or nuisance is caused either to the management or to other guests or clients.

Please note that we have a strict no-noise policy between the hours of 10 pm and 7am and we also have a no-drugs policy, anyone found with any illegal substances will be asked to leave immediately with no refund and no prior warning.

Conduct


Clients must accept the decisions of the resort manager, who is responsible for the safety of the resort. The resort manager shall have the power to remove from the resort any client if considered necessary for their medical safety or whose actions are materially affecting the enjoyment of other guests.

Safety


Guests are advised to deposit their values to the management for safekeeping. the company and the management cannot accept liability for loss or damage to guests' property retained by them whilst staying with us. Damage of resort property, infrastructure and fixtures will be chargeable to the guests. Further information can be found in the guest booklet.

Loss or damage


We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of “force majeure”, meaning any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual, perceived or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.

Force Majeure


All extra services, other than the contracted agreement are chargeable and to be paid directly at the resort

Extra Charges


Any dispute arising out of this contract will be governed by The Indian law under Guwahati High Court jurisdiction.

Disputes


The annual festival of IORA - The Retreat, kaziranga is held from the First Saturday of December to the Second Sunday of December.
