Terms & Conditions || Niltava

Reservations can only be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit amounting to 20% of the total cost. For bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival at Niltava, full payment is required at the time of booking. The final balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival. Failure to make the final payment may result in cancellation, and our standard cancellation policy will apply.
Guests and clients are requested to send proof of payment to the following email addresses:

Reservations

The following amounts will be retained in case of cancellation prior to the arrival date:

- More than 12 weeks before arrival: Full refund.
- Less than 12 weeks to 8 weeks before arrival: 10% of the invoice amount.
- Less than 8 weeks to 4 weeks before arrival: 25% of the invoice amount.
- Less than 4 weeks to 2 weeks before arrival: 50% of the invoice amount.
- Less than 2 weeks before arrival: 100% of the invoice amount.

Accommodation will be provided for the booked dates only. No refund will be made for unused nights or early check-outs. Postponing the booking dates will be considered a cancellation, and the cancellation policy will apply.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 15 working days.

Cancellation & Refund

Check-in time is 2:00 pm. Early check-in requests are welcome and will be accommodated based on availability—feel free to ask us ahead of time. Check-out time is 12:00 pm. Guests who do not vacate their room by this time may be charged for an additional day. Kindly note that check-ins between 12:00 am and 8:00 am are not accepted unless the room has been booked for the previous night.

Check in/Check Out

Guests are kindly requested to respect the cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere of Niltava. A strict no-noise policy is in place between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.
Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight; visitors must leave the property by 10:00 pm. Guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors, ensuring they do not cause any disturbance to others or the management.
Please note, possession or use of drugs or illegal substances is strictly prohibited—violators will be asked to leave immediately, without prior warning or refund.

Conduct

Niltava is a smoke-free property. Guests are kindly requested to use the designated smoking areas only. All tents at Niltava are strictly non-smoking, and we strongly discourage smoking, lighting candles, or using any form of open flame inside the tents or elsewhere on the resort premises, unless directly supervised by the resort management

Fire Hazard

Clients are expected to respect the decisions of the management, who are responsible for the safety and well-being of the property and its guests. The manager has the authority to ask any client to leave if necessary for their own medical safety or if their behaviour is significantly affecting the comfort and enjoyment of other guests.

Safety

The management cannot accept liability for loss or damage to guests' personal belongings while staying with us. Guests are kindly requested to use the locker provided in their room to store any valuables.

Loss or damage

All services beyond those included in the agreed package will incur additional charges and must be settled directly on-site.

Extra Charges

Any dispute arising from this agreement will be governed by Indian law and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Guwahati High Court.

Disputes

We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation if performance or timely performance is prevented or affected, or if you suffer any damage or loss as a result of “force majeure.” This refers to any event that we or the service provider could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual, perceived or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire, and other similar circumstances beyond our control.
