Undoubtedly the No 1 resort at Kaziranga. Rooms are well appointed for an Assam based resort, food and beverages are excellent and in general the ambiance is especially suited for families. One special word for Arunav and his team in the front desk who go out of their way to make guests comfortable, arrange the Jeep and Elephant safaris which are the highlights of any Kaziranga trip.
“Authentic Assamese Cuisine Worth Returning For.”
We had a great trip in November 2025. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly, and arranging or adjusting our elephant and jeep safari schedules was easy. The hotel management was also kind enough to connect us with local experts, Arun and Rishi, who travelled with us in the jeep and guided us as we searched for animals and birds. Thank you, Arun and Rishi.
The hotel also has a wonderful Assamese restaurant. I would advise anyone visiting Kaziranga and staying at Iora to try it if you’d like to experience the local cuisine. It was so good that we went there for two evenings. The hotel also offers familiar dishes for guests who prefer more standard fare.
