Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park

Located less than 3 kms away from Iora-The Retreat, the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park is home to over 500 species of wild orchids that are native to Northeast India. The park also has a bamboo and medicinal herb garden, a cactus house, a museum on Assamese handicrafts, photo galleries and an ethnic food restaurant that serves delicious authentic Assamese thalis (platters). Cultural shows, consisting of traditional song and dance performances, run throughout the day and are a delight to watch.
